MEMORANDUM  

With reference to his/her application for recruitment to the post of Tax Assistant
in CBDT on the basis of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2020 the candidates
selected as Tax Assistant in CBDT are directed to indicate/exercise hisfher preferences,
in order of priority for allotment of 18 regions under Income Tax Department (CBDT) all
over the country, in the prescribed format. The PREFERENCE FORM duly
filled/complete in all respects, may be sent URGENTLY via email on
recruitmentcell.hrd@incometax.gov.in latest by 14.11.2022. However, later the hard copy of
the preference form may also be sent through SPEED POST/REGISTERD POST or
COURIER/BY HAND or PERSONALLY at the following address:

2. Candidate are cautioned that if, for any reasons, he/ she fails or does not indicate
his/her preferences in said FORMAT for whatever reasons by 14.11.2022 the
REGION/STATE will be allotted to him/her, on the basis of merit-cum-preference, by this
Directorate and NO REQUEST for change of allotted region will be entertained at any stage
of recruitment.
